Two-Digit Addition Using Place Value
We have started working on two-digit addition in Math and one of the strategies we are using is Place Value. Here is a short video to help you understand the strategy, so that you can better support your child's learning at home. We will be exploring the Algorithm strategy shortly.

Rite of Enrolment Masses
If your child will be participating in First Reconciliation & First Communion at St. Patrick Fallowfield this year, please ensure they attend one of the Rite of Enrolment masses taking place this weekend. Mass times are Saturday, January 25th at 5:00 p.m. & Sunday, January 26th at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Thank you for your continued support in your child's faith journey.

Friendship Bracelets to Support Australia
A message from the Grade 1s...
Hello everyone!
Our little Grade 1s would like to help support the people and animals impacted by the devastating fires in Australia. They have decided to make and distribute friendship bracelets in the hopes of raising some money. We will be accepting small donations over the next two weeks. We will split 100% of the donations between The Red Cross Australia and World Wildlife Fund Australia.

January Calendar Now Posted
The "Home Learning Suggestions" calendar for the month of January can now be found on the right-hand side of the blog under the header "Monthly Calendars". In addition to being posted on the blog, a hard copy of the calendar was sent home with the students today.
